The ladies of Chapel Hart celebrated fellow country queen Carrie Underwood’s birthday this week like only they can: with an a cappella cover of one of her most famous songs.
The trio, composed of sisters Danica and Devynn Hart and first cousin Trea Swindle, shared a video of themselves performing a haunting rendition of Underwood’s “Jesus Take The Wheel” in a stairwell Monday.
Jesus Take The Wheel” appeared on Underwood’s 2005 debut album, Some Hearts. The Christian ballad about a woman surrendering to a higher power in an emergency was the American Idol alum’s first number-one single.
Underwood, who turned 41 on March 11, seemingly approved of Chapel Hart’s take on the song. The Grammy-winning songstress commented on the video with an emoji of applauding hands and also shared it to her own Instagram Stories.
Chapel Hart has been busy since their legendary run on the season 17 of The Voice earned them a No. 1 spot on iTunes, a Grand Ole Opry invitation, and countless other accolades. They are currently on tour.
